Right Student, Right Program - Is the Catalyst right for you?

  • Do you want to work on real projects while earning college and high school credit?

  • Are you interested in developing professional skills that will enhance your leadership potential and marketability?

  • Do you want to experience a professional work environment with other DSD students and business partners?

  • Are you open to new possibilities?

  • Do you have a strong sense of curiosity?

  • Do you want to create solutions to real-life problems?

The Catalyst application is as simple as 1-2-3:

  1. Ensure you have completed any require pre-requisites for your desired course(s) in your career interest pathway, and are on track to graduate. See all current Catalyst courses in the main menu above.

  2. Complete our simple online application (linked below) for new students, which opened on October 1st for Spring Semester (January 2025).

  3. If we have more applicants than openings, we may conduct a weighted lottery, and may ask you to have one of your teachers, a counselor, or administrator give you a recommendation. In that event we would send them a form to complete to supplement your application.

Davis Catalyst Center New Student Application

Our enrollment is open to all high school students in Davis School District, thus at this time we are only accepting applications from students who attend one of our Davis School District high schools: Bountiful, Clearfield, Davis, Davis Connect, Farmington, Layton, Mountain, Northridge, Syracuse, Viewmont, and Woods Cross. Space is limited and entry to our programs is competitive.

Applications for Spring Semester 2025 are now open (as of October 1, 2024)
Click below to register as a new student and to determine if the Davis Catalyst Center is right for you. Students need to be using a browser that can connect to their Microsoft Office 365 student account to apply:

*Note:  Students filing out this application must be on a browser that is logged into their student Microsoft Office 365 account in order for the application form to launch correctly. Also, current Catalyst students do not need to complete a new application, as they will receive an "Intent To Return" survey for their next semester, prior to the application being opened up to others.

A timeline with specific dates will be posted here by mid-October, as to when applications will be reviewed and students then notified regarding their application.

If you have questions about the application or future course options, you can contact Brad Goodwin at 801-402-4107, Brooke Henderson at 801-402-4128, or Loren Clark at 801-402-9915.
