Robert McGuiness - Pilot and Aviation

Robert McGuiness has been training pilots with Cornerstone Aviation since 2017. He has also taught the Pilot and Aviation course at all of our high schools in Davis School District. 

Robert has been a pilot for Strand Aviation in Grand Junction, Colorado and American Aviation in Tooele, UT. He is also currently earning his Masters in Aeronautics & Aviation Safety.

Having Robert at the Davis Catalyst Center now provides all DSD high school students access to the aviation program.

This Pilot and Aviation course is essentially the pathway to complete the "ground school" portion of one's private pilot's license, at half of the cost of typical, private ground school.

Students can then complete their actual flight hours on their own, within two years of the certificated completion of ground school.
